Our teams carried out the distribution of winter clothing aid and a health education presentation in Iğdır.
The AID Alliance of International Doctors Istanbul Representative Office and Medipol University Student Club "International Young Health Volunteers" were in Iğdır to warm little hearts.
Under the name "This Winter Hearts Together," organized by the AID Alliance of International Doctors Istanbul Representative Office and Medipol University Student Club International Young Health Volunteers, a winter coat, boots, and stationery supplies distribution activity was carried out for 300 students at the Güllüce Mollakamer Primary and Secondary School in the Tuzluca district of Iğdır. In addition, basic health information on topics such as hygiene and dental health was given to the children by Pharmacy student Meryem Tenha Kılıç. Meanwhile, a projector device needed by the school was also donated.
AID Istanbul Provincial Representative Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Aydın said about the activity, "Carrying out such beautiful and charitable activities from one end of our country to the other makes us feel very good spiritually. I would like to thank all our volunteers and donors who contributed to this organization, which we carried out with such warm-hearted and big-hearted children. We delivered the dental hygiene training we provided, as well as the donated stationery, clothing, and projector materials needed by the school, to their owners. Despite the difficult weather conditions, we carried out our program without any problems, thank God."
Ebrar Altınalan, one of the student club members, said, "We had a wonderful day with the children. We are very happy to have shared in the smiles on their faces. Goodness always multiplies as it is shared and becomes more beautiful as effort is put into it. Our hope is that when the children see this goodness and grow up, they will pursue goodness just like their healthcare brothers and sisters."
